About Us

Dr. Allison Heffron

Chiropractic runs in Dr. Allison's family- third generation, in fact. But her path through it looks nothing like her family's.

Growing up competing in team sports, Allison carried that drive into adulthood. After undergrad she competed in sprint triathlons before going on to earn her doctorate in chiropractic and a master's in acupuncture, while simultaneously diving deep into the rehabilitation space. After graduating, she channeled that athletic drive into olympic weightlifting, eventually competing at the national level.

But years of training took their toll. Recurring injuries that never fully resolved, a body that felt decades older than it was, and a sport she'd stopped loving. She stepped away.

In 2022, she found something new: roller derby. For the first time in a long time, she felt like she belonged somewhere. A few months in, she shattered and dislocated her ankle. Three plates, nineteen screws, and three and a half months on the couch.

She lost everything at once. The fitness she'd built. The sport. The community. Her identity as an athlete, which she hadn't realized was so central to who she was until it was gone.

Four years later, she's preparing for her first bodybuilding competition in the figure division.

Dr. Allison has over 12 years of experience working with athletic adults in New Jersey who are stuck after an injury and struggling to find their way back to training. Drawing on chiropractic, acupuncture, and high-level rehabilitation, she takes an integrated approach focused on one goal: helping people get back to doing what they love, at the level they want to do it. She knows what it means to lose your identity as an athlete, and she's built her practice around helping others reclaim theirs.

Dr. Vinny Tagliaferro

Dr. Vinny grew up in the gym and in the pit. A high school gymnast, college hockey player, and active member in local music scenes. He lived the grind. He chased performance. He pushed his body to the edge and crossed it.

A catastrophic hockey injury and multiple concussions forced him to confront something most driven athletes avoid: what happens when your body stops cooperating and your confidence goes with it?

That season changed everything. Instead of walking away, he went deeper.

He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic and an advanced degree in Human Movement Sciences. He worked with elite performers, dancers, competitive athletes, serious lifters, refining a performance-driven approach to rehab while becoming a nationally ranked Olympic weightlifter.

After another traumatic head injury in 2020, he expanded into functional medicine and health mindset coaching to address root causes, not just symptoms.

What he discovered is this: Coming back stronger isn't about grinding harder. It's about rebuilding intelligently.

Today, Dr. Vinny helps driven, active adults who've experienced injury or trauma regain trust in their bodies. His work blends rehabilitation, strength conditioning, and mindset recalibration into one cohesive system so clients can train hard, move confidently, and challenge themselves without fear.
